Well, as I have been reminded by so many of our wonderful followers... Yes, I missed a day of blogging. I had to choose between a 4:30am conference call, eating, sleeping, laundry or blogging. I apologize... I chose to skip the blog for a day. You wouldn't have wanted me to blog yesterday anyway! Ask Brett... I was a total BIAAAAAA!

As I am sitting writing this... Brett is actually sitting here with me! Finally!!!! We are on somewhat of the same schedule... ha, ha, ha (evil laugh) I triumph again! Poor Brett!

Since the last post we have moved hotels once again... and are in Hotel #3. It is absolutely beautiful... If you don't look too closely. I will save that topic for a less eventful day!

And yes... I know what you are asking... The coffee here is AMAZING! Not as good as good as Hotel #1... but WAAAAAAAY better than Hotel #2!

Oh yeah... I know this is going to be totally random but... our driver's name is Nand! Holla!

So, on the topic of Hotels, and kind of relative to India in general, the staff is so nice... almost too nice! When we got home from work yesterday (3am) we decided that we were starving (we had only eaten once that day) and would come back down to the 24 hour cafe and grab a quick bite. We told the manager on duty that we would be right back down... and he said "no, no no... order room service." I was like... "no, no, no... we will be right back down to eat." So, when Brett came back down the manager said the same thing to him again... Brett said "no, no, no, where should we sit?" And as another example, the same kind of thing happened to us both (separately) this morning. We both came down to catch our ride to work and stopped to get some bottles of water to go! When we asked for them they said "please sit, please sit." No thank you... we asked for them to go!

So on the way to work, Brett and I were comparing stories... I was HOT... he was NOT! I guess I am just so set in my ways, which really just equals that I like everything my way... DUH! For the first time in 7 days Brett was telling me to relax... it was very weird hearing those words coming out of Brett's mouth!

Our Hotel #3 is only 7 minutes away from work. No crazy freeways, no big trucks, not a lot of traffic, no horn honking, no get out of the way, NOTHING! It is just an uneventful 7 minute drive! Boring! (BTW... That is why Brett is so calm now!) I am just pissed that I might not get a chance to get my prize photo of someone peeing on the side of the road!!!!!

I think I still freak out most of the people over here! They don't quite know how to take me and my "bold" personality! Tonight (this morning) when we got home from work... we decided again to have breakfast/lunch/dinner (we still have no idea what meal we are technically eating when we do eat). I decided that I wanted a beer with my "meal" (yes... still beer! I am not paying $20 for a drink!) Well, it was too late to order a beer from the cafe... so I ran up to my room, grabbed two from the mini-fridge, and ran back down for our "meal." When I get downstairs the waiter asks if he would like me to open the beer. I say "yes, please" (they are not twist offs... I have the slamming the cap on the corner of a desk trick down now!) The waiter opens my beer and then asks Brett if he would like to open the other one... I was like "no, no, no... that is my beer!" The waiter looked VERY surprised and looks at Brett ... poor Brett just shakes his head and says "she doesn't like to share."

I know I have mentioned the internet service a couple of times, but this stands to be mentioned once more (and then I will let it go and get over it!) The internet service in Hotel #3 is the fastest that we have experienced to date... However, you have to get a login for every device you will be connecting to the internet. That means that I need 3 logins everyday, and Brett needs 1,999,999,999! That is not the half of it.... If your leave your computer, or device, static for 3 minutes...

Also... one thing that I don't think Brett and I every really thought about... ok... maybe just I never really thought about... is... not being able to access sites and apps on our phone from this country! Crazy! (photo below)

Oh yeah... one more thing! We snuck in a quick hello to Pam Gonzales (co-worker in the US) today as she was beginning her conference call with the Indian team ... As we were saying hello and chatting she said "HOLY COW!" I almost died laughing, watching everyone in the room look at each other... I quickly said... "See... I am not the only one who says that all the time!" Thank you Pam! The "Holy Cow" slip was priceless!
